of magical Norfolk pines and bushland lit up like an enchanted
forest. Meander along (or ride in the 'moon buggy') a winding
pathway with Archie, a descendant of the Bounty mutineers, as

This back of beyond tour takes you through private

working settlement tour

first hand stone cutting, shingle splitting, timber cutting and
cloth and rope making.
Visit
200-year-old sites and see where produce gardens once thrived,
processing mills and more.

bus tour conducted by a local historian takes approx. 3 ½ hours,
includes morning or afternoon tea in an island home and a visit to
a small working museum.
