Convict Ruins Tour

Journey through historic Kingston, passing through the graveyard, ruins and buildings that are regarded as the most impressive collection of Georgian buildings in the world.

Spend three hours with a local historian, learning about commandants, convicts and settlers that ensured Norfolk’s place as one of the most brutal settlements of the British Empire.

The Trial of the Fifteen & Barney Duffy's Meal

Let Bounty Excursions transport you to this wonderful play, where characters ranging from Satan to Fletcher Christian defend their roles in Norfolk Island's amazing history. Meet the players and enjoy a glass of sherry after the play. Then it's off to a hearty meal of steak or ribs & sweets

Nightfall at Kingston brings a different mood to the Convict settlement. The dramatic use of real life sounds, theatrical lighting and costumed actors, the stillness is broken as Pinetree Tours takes you through the horrifying decades of the convict era

Wonderland by Night

The setting is 10 acres of magical Norfolk pines and bushland lit up like an enchanted forest. Meander along (or ride in the 'moon buggy') a winding pathway with Archie, a descendant of the Bounty mutineers, as he recites his poems and lights up the dioramas. Afterwards enjoy a a light supper

4WD Tour's

Join John and his staff – all direct descendants of the Bounty Mutineers, on an exciting three-hour tour to points of Norfolk only accessible to4WD.  This back of beyond tour takes you through private properties and the national park featuring spectacular scenery, native flora and bird life.

It also includes delicious home made cakes with tea and coffee at a beautiful island home.

Don’t expect a rough race through the scrub.   Drivers are considerate and very knowledgeable.

All vehicles are comfortable modern 4WD’s.    Great for all ages.

Farm and Industry Tour

Come behind tourism and see our other industries including a market garden and piggery which supply much of the island’s primary produce, a state of the art kentia palm and Norfolk pine industry that exports around the world, a soft drink & liqueur factory where you sample the delicious products based on many of our wild fruits, a timber mill and art, design & hand printing crafts.

Morning or afternoon tea is served in a cliff top garden with stunning views to the coast.

History in the Making – a working settlement tour

Experience first hand stone cutting, shingle splitting, timber cutting and cloth and rope making.

Visit 200-year-old sites and see where produce gardens once thrived, processing mills and more.

A bus tour conducted by a local historian takes approx. 3 ½ hours, includes morning or afternoon tea in an island home and a visit to a small working museum.
